Alan Thompson's UF Blog: Alan Thompson has worked around small business owners and entrepreneurs his entire life. With a family owning small businesses 3 generations deep, it was an obvious path for Alan. Launching Stingray in 2008, he has been a part of dozens of business success stories. Founding two non-profits, the North Charleston Chamber and Great Business Networking, he is an entrepreneur for entrepreneurs. Alan proudly serves in the US Air Force Reserves, and previously was in the US Army. He studied Business and Marketing at the College of Charleston and International Academy of Design. You’ll often find Alan at a networking event, spending time with his family, and cheering for the University of Florida.
