Your pitch was natural and rehearsed. The words you use to talk about your product/idea shows that you believe in it, however, you seem uninterested in front of the camera. I believe this is due to it being an assignment. If you were in front of an audience you would have energy.
Alan, your pitch was nice and you seemed like you knew exactly what points you wanted to get across. I do think in the future being more enthusiastic will help bring more excitement about the idea. I do realize this is in front of a camera or phone and the truth is there is a big difference between doing this on camera and in person. In person, I think you will be just fine and will make your coffee shop sound great.
Alan, I enjoyed your pitch a lot. It was a great! Your idea was very too the point and I understood it well. I do agree with Brandon however that you did seem a bit unenthusiastic. Enthusiasm is key. If you seem not to care about your idea, how can you convince anyone else to care? Great post overall. Just trying to add a few tips :)
